Flexpack is Teufelberger’s polymer-filled wire rope — a high-performance crane rope in which the core and strand interstices are filled with a special polymer compound. This fill eliminates internal
metal-on-metal contact between wires and strands, dramatically reducing internal wear and fretting corrosion. The result is a wire rope with significantly longer fatigue life and improved flexibility compared to conventional wire ropes in the same class.
